What is a group Ruqya session?

A group Ruqya session is a live online gathering in which a certified raqi recites Quranic verses and authentic supplications for all participants simultaneously. It is based on the established practice of Ruqya and the communal remembrance of Allah.

Participants join from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. The session is confidential — you are not required to speak, share your name publicly, or turn on your camera. Simply find a quiet space, make wudu, and join.

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

"When the Quran is recited, listen to it and pay attention, so that you may receive mercy." — Surah Al-A'raf 7:204

Common questions

Group Ruqya FAQs

Answers to what people most often ask before attending.

?Is online group Ruqya effective?

Yes. The cure is in the words of Allah — the Quran recited over a speaker or screen is the same Quran. Many participants report experiencing strong reactions and feeling relief during and after online group sessions.

?Do I need to turn on my camera?

No. You are welcome to join with your camera off. We do ask that you find a quiet, private space and are in a state of wudu if possible for the duration of the session.

?Can I attend if I have never had Ruqya before?

Absolutely. Group sessions are suitable for anyone seeking Quranic healing or spiritual strengthening, regardless of prior experience.

?What if I need one-to-one attention?

If your situation requires individual assessment and treatment, we recommend booking a private Ruqya session. Group sessions are a great starting point but cannot replace personalised one-to-one treatment.

?Is there a women-only option?

Yes. We hold a sisters-only group Ruqya session every month, conducted by a female raqi. Check the upcoming sessions list above for dates.

I joined from Pakistan and could feel the effect of the recitation even through the screen. My whole family sat together and we all felt peace afterwards. Alhamdulillah.

I was nervous about joining online but the raqi made it very comfortable. No pressure, no need to speak. I just listened and made du'a. It was a beautiful experience.
